....Of course not "useless". My point was that DRL's were first introduced in Germany and the autobahns are a good example to illustrate their benefit. It doesn't mean that they are ONLY of benefit on unrestricted high speed roads.

You have only to experience what I have described to realise their benefit. Or have you already had such experience of them and disagree?
