Today i wanted to fit some skanky old inner arches...only these are original 89'ers complete with 'brake air ducts' lol oh yess!

These were wrecked, coverd in dirt and 20 years of grime and tar spots. Took me a good hour to get all the tar off!!! half way through i was thinking to myself? what the hell am i doing? "im cleaning the inner arches!!??"

payed off i think tho!!

before

after

re-painted my calipers too..

...In order to make these work i'd have to trim my front spoiler...

..done..

UPDATE:

Well i managed to get it booked in today, and it passed with flying colours!!! Just needed the headlights adjusting and that was it!

The cars not been driven for a year now and i was worried about the exhaust steaming, after my mate saying headgasket..(without even looking at it) and must admit i was a little worried but after a good blast to the mot station its all cleared up...the mech said its just condensation in the exhaust system. good times!!

Still stupidly quick too!! :smug:

Gave it an oil change, with magnatex and a new filter, cleaned out the throttle body and air box, cleaned the k&n panal filter and its running soo sweet!! no new pics yet, maybe later this week.
