Not fitted the rs turbo seats set, neithor do i have pictures of them. i will get some up as soon as i can....be botherd

seen as the weather was nice this weekend i decided to give the car a wash and take it for a trip out to sunny southport with the girlfriend and my dog diesel.

First off tho there were a few jobs that needed doing. Firstly there was a real horried smell coming from inside the car, i couldnt even try to explain how nasty it smelt! Basicaly i had left my car out in the rain storms for a few days and it had leaked from somwhere..dont know where into the boot area. My guessing is that it had seaped from the lights. Anyways i inspected this out as i was sure this was where the smell was coming from..

well this was the source!!!

some sort of foam that seriously stank!!! 20 years of mould and god only knows wat else!!! so it went!

mucho better

next i wanted to wire up my amp but  couldnt open my bonnet...

what an absolute b!tch to get out. As you can see i ended up cutting the bonnet catch in half just to get it off what i nightmare!!! and ended up scratching my freshly painted small panal :embarassed:

anyway finally we made it!!!!!

diesel there protecting my dustcaps from all the little chavs in the area

as you can see my bonnet doesnt line up very well as i need a new one and my front bumper needs aligning

 :nerd:

ok update

Well after having run out of mot and tax i took the car offroad. It has had a electric fire with meant i had no wipers, lights indicators heaters...

so i stuck it in the gargae and just left it to gather dust

to get about i bought a new daily and startedf modding it. I really like them i think there cool little cars!!!

i might start a new thread for it...

anyway. I've managed to sort out the electrical problems just got little bits and bobs to sort then its mot time.

A big thing i've got going round my head at the mo is should i big bumper and arch it??? please let me know what you think to that...seen a couple of sweet looking big bumperd golfs :undecided: recently

ok well after being told its going to be sacraligeos in changing it to big bumper, i kinda agreed!! so lets plough on shall we...

i've decided to paint the lower front panal as its a total mess and letting the front down(i also need bonnet painting and adjusting.

After seeing what big_man10 did to his i thought i'd give it a go

its abit batterd and brused and got loads of dints and rust patches everywhere. I stripped it off the car and gave it a good clean up

cars looking naked!!!!

and how its sitting on the steels at the mo as the polo's robbed the bbs!!

my azev's have come back from being bored out and are just waiting for tyres to come from mytyres!!

If your local to lancaster the guys down at lancaster engines are fookin ace!!!! cheap too!!

i decided to use some stone chip on the front panel. As i just dont like the thought of having just a painted one. plus it wouldnt match in with the bottem of the wings...

all was going fine and i got a really good finish

sand, prime, stone chip...

then i did this with the strap off the camera!!!!

although i did get my tyres fitted!!!

Propper 90's now!!! i need to upgrade my brakes now...
