Throttle body clean.

 Just cleaned the throttle body on my 1.8T AGU. I must say if yours has never been done it its a must!! 15 min job and the engine is so smooth through the gears now  :wink:
 Ive got some after pics but forgot to do any before as i got carried away with the cleaning :grin: LOL  But believe me it was BLACK and full of deposits!!

Did you put a new gasket on after cleaning the Throttle Body. I think mine needs to be cleaned. Did you disconnect battery before taking it off?

No,Because you dont need to replace the gasket. No you dont need to disconnect the battery as there is only a sensor plug which you just unplug.  :wink:

No probs at all mate Well worth it, Dont forget to get some carb cleaner from halfords for £5  :smiley:

They say you need to re-allign the throttle body with vag com after youve taken it off for a clean
