Yer as above, if you say have a 10" sub and 6x9's the lower frequencies can often merge into one another if you get me as the diameters are similar. If you went for some 6x4's im sure you could get some with at least 50w RMS, some mediocre 6x9's will probably have an RMS of only maybe 70w so you wouldn't get that much more overall sound by having 6x4's over 6x9's.

these were great as i ran them off a seperate 160w amp to my sub just adjusted the low frequency so there was very little movement in the cone at low volume

Thanks for all the help guys, decided im just gonna leave it as is. Im plannin on getting a different car in september/october time so dont want to do anything permenant as i want to sell the car on :undecided:

Dont worry, the new ride will be either a mk4 polo or golf :evil: just want some luxuries and better fuel efficiency as i will need to use my car for commuting then :sad:

i run 2x12" kickers with the rear standerd speakers removed, as the holes for the origanal speakers make a great port into the car without cutting holes into the shelf.

a set of tweeters tucked snide into about 3cm of the origanal speaker holes for a bit of extra noise at the rear. 

alpine componants at the front with tweeters in dash!

no power cap, just a big asre gold fuse block between amps and power lead. (also fused at battery)

in my and alot of mates opinion, sounds sweet!!  :wink:
