Had a problem trying to update it on here for a while as it just wouldn't work, so hopefully this will now the site problem has meant to have been sorted out!
Going back a few months I found out what the slight groaning noise noise was when I was moving along slowly. Thought it was something with the brakes and was on the way to a friends when it seemed even worse and was even moving the steering wheel every so often. Anyway, had just gone around the corner from home and though I can't go much further with it like this! A guy who I had just passed who was walking along stopped and walked up to me and said did I know that it looked like the car/wheels were not moving quite right and I said yeah, I'm just going back home to look!
Anyways, I go just down the road from where I live and park on a flat surface to jack the car up. I jacked the front right side up and took the centre cap off to find two bolts not fully tight!

I dropped the car back down and drove the car back and then forward again and it seemed better, but still not right. I then went round the passenger side to find this:

-The centre cap nearly off, one bolt fully out and waiting to drop out and another bolt half out!

I thought bloody hell, that was close as a little further away from where I live I was about to have driven down a very steep hill! All the times I've taken wheels on & off and never had a problem, so I guess they bodyshop didn't tighten the bolts quite fully enough!
Then the other problem I had was shuddering when braking, again thought it was the brakes and was told probably the discs as I knew they were getting old! Anyway, they were well knackered and pretty scored, but had knackered my new Black diamond pads which was pretty annoying. Don't know when the pads were fitted, that they didn't say that the discs were shot and should be replaced!

The last problem was that I was getting a little twitch when driving and it seemed to come from the rear. I could be going along normally on a stright road (not booting it or anything), when there was a little twitch a bit like a tiny skid if you hit a little bit of ice. Was really unsettling and meant I had to drive quite carefully without putting my foot down, especially in the wet!

Found out what it was when it went in for the MOT-turned out to be a loose front bolt in the passenger side wishbone! I fellt the difference straight away after it was tightened up!
The car then failed the MOT on the rear driver's side seat-belt which was annoying as I had just fitted a replacement that I'd just been sent from a VW breakers! It also failed on a split steering rack gaitor and because it had no side repeaters when it passed without them at another garage last year (didn't want to go back to that garage though for various reasons!)! Was a bit of a problem though as my new G60 wings came without side repeater holes!

Had to drive to the VW breakers to find a seatbelt that worked, then fitted that, got the steering rack gaitor fitted, another set of black diamond pads fitted, then had to pull the side repeaters through to the front scuttle area and taped them to the top of the front wings just for the MOT re-test!

They will now remain there hidden until the next MOT! Got the MOT at last!
