Use the crappiest oil and make sure you load up the engine and overrun to pull rings onto the bores.

Don't baby the engine around either.

I was always told the same, new engines needs a lower quality oil (ok lower spec) to let them bed in correctly. the only time where a bit of friction is really needed

oh and len I have a box of bits sat here waiting for you, I will get them out a.s.a.p

Well I think I have everything!

Block/bottom end all bored and stroked and fully balanced.

Head with catcams and vernier pulleys, new chains and springs and lifters, valves shaped and angle ground, all flowed and smoothed.

Will get some pics up before I put those two together!

Supersprint exhaust manifold

New - oil pump, water pump, oil cooler, head gasket set, head bolts, oil and filter, Cam belt and tensioner.

Oh yes the new engine mounts

Anything I have forgot?

Oh yes!

Just ordered a magnetic sump plug!

All that new metal needs to have something to stick to rather than floating around!

Well they will be when I pay for the throttle bodies and DTA ecu etc.

Just checked the tracking and in transit but not heard from Billy yet.
