I havent exactly been doing nothing recently!

Few pics of progress on the rocker cover.




Up until then I was thinking of getting it fully polished, then changed my mind and decided I would paint it!
So I ground off the fins......

Then I got some paint!

Also tried a bit of brush hand painting of what I want to put on top.




The colour looks worse in those photos and you can see the paint runs! :embarrassed:
So still have work to do!

Also the lettering in red I will use a stencil. Found some sticky backed plastic so can cut it out of that.

Awesome Gti strike again!

Wrong sump plug! Dont do one to fit my engine! But I ordered the one they told me was the correct one! Grrrrrr!

Anybody know where I can get one?
Had a look on ebay but they look same as the one Awesome sent me!

Yes please Boney! I cant seem to find one at all.

They say its 14mm but I'm sure its a 19mm spanner and think the bore is more like 22/23mm
Its a big hole in the sump! Certainly get my thumb through it!
