Just to prove I have been doing something!

The diesel engine with the crank taken out!

The spare abf engine with the crank nearly out!

Will finish that tomorrow

Going to check fit the diesel crank to see if there are any clearance issues.

Then strip down the abf engine completely ready for the rebore.

So what are you planning with the engine? 2.1?

What are you doing for management?

Yea strip down for a rebore to 2.1 with the diesel crank.

Gonna get that done and in the car then add bits at a time.

Think I will go with Emerald ECU as that has switchable maps, rather than having to connect up a laptop.

Why would you need switchable maps? Or are you planning on using different fuels b

No but I might use an economy mode.

Just not convinced your Megasquirt one is for me.

It probably isn't if you're not that way inclined.

You don't need switcable maps just for economy on a SEM because you can map the cruise areas to give you best economy if you like.
You can adjust fuel to run leaner at light cruise at 50,60 or 70mph but be richer in power areas when you put your foot down.
