I see. How big did you want to make the ports!  :shocked: Ive heard that the 16v head is overported anyway and would run better with a smaller diameter, but thats off subject and probably not even true.

Once you get the needed guage and connections can you let us all know please so we can purchase the same. Ta

The ports on the 16v's are far from oversized. It's the valves that aren't worth going bigger on unless you're goin race spec.

Anyone fancy doing a WUR mod to my GTI valve? I dont have the bottle to do it myself!! I could bring my car to whoever can do it and also give a nice £Â£  :smiley:

West cumbria is fine....could make a weekend of it with my daughter as ive heard its lovely there. What kind of power gains gan be expected from the WUR mod (im sure this question has been asked before!)

no, the thread on the nut (WUR Feed fuel line) that screws onto the metering head.

DOHDOHDOH!!

Just rememebred I have a set of Fuel lines in my shed!

Now then, I assume that the connector to the injector is the same size as the one for feed to the WUR (on the metering head). CAn anyone confirm this?  Looks identical!



Also can anyone tel me how I get the banto bolt bit out of the end of the flexible pipe with cutting it? I don't wan't to destroy it as it is a good spare and they are £40 from VW!!!

yes they will be the same. though will the rigid metal pipe not foul on the slam panel when you try to fit

id just chop the baitch off!! the pipes are easily found in scrap yards!!
