it aint possible to rewind it unless you take the clocks apart and move the digits yourself

otherwise technically driving in reverse would knock miles off your car!!


good point mate!  I guess thats why high miles clocks go for much less..

takin them apart sounds like a pain in the a$$ , and the didgits not lined usually shouts "CLOCKED!!" in the buyers mind...

They are easy to take apart and put back togother, also easy to put forward or back and keep the digits straight. :)

k can I just ask something else to do wi clocks?

I want a vr6 put in2 my mk2. My mk2 is at 160k (ouch) but the engine I have in mind is at 78k. If I put clocks in at 78k is that legal?  :-\

unfortunately very illegal...

your clocks would be saying that the car had done 78k when actually it had done 160k....

cool Gozza.  but can i ask, have you done 90 spec clocks ?
i just wanna check that it is easy b4 i go out an buy some high mile clocks..

I'm not a pig, but i'm guessing no...

yor car, technically, would still be clocked, and the fuzz dunt like that......

Yes I have, I did it on my 1991 H reg mark 2. I had major dash problems so easiest way was to purchase new ones..
