I'd put my faith in the Evo rating. The others will slate a car on it's cup holders or some other useless criteria.

As said nowhere does it state that the ED30 is 15mm lower than a normal GTi, it certainly doesn't look that lower from the German pics and that would make it 30mm lower in total, lower than a R32.

I don't believe this article at all.

Has this been published in the actual magazine or just off the net review?

Yeah I couldn't find any 3 door pictures on any German sites yet, guess they must have built the 5 door batch first?

Nice pics   The car i will be getting will be pretty much identical to the black one in the pics - looks mighty impressive i have to say...

Why are the wheels on the red one grey, while the wheels on the black one are silver?

Look what i found! Interesting page 6 states - 'There are no changes to the suspension'

http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/first_drive.php?sid=352&page=1

Also the picture on page one is the same as the one used by Autocar - something fishy going on.

From the side the 5 door red don't half look a bit sedate - you do wonder why VW uk doesn't ask for the most visually striking model as it's press car ie 3 door, silver and black wheels!
