Lazerblue, my dealership has a very good service team but no vw dealer would be keen to work on a car that has modifiactions because of the warranty implications. a lot of the lads would be happy to work on the car as they have modified S3's and ibiza cupra's. It's the service managers that would be nervous about working on a modifed car.
In terms of customer service we are second to  none as basically any customer we deal with gets a call from vw head office to see if they are happy with the service, if customers are continually unhappy then we as a dealership get fined for poor performance.
I don't think a dealership would want to be involved in helping modify a car but would be happy to service and look after the car on a daily basis.

Liam - What are the standard spec headlights on this edition
Are the seat heated (ie winter pack included).

Trying to figure out if I can afford to put Sat-Nav on it (if I don't have to pay extra for the above)
Whilst on the subject - what is the standard sound kit.

Don't want to get you sacked, info just helps me budget (so I know how much to hide from my wife)

Thanks.

The literature I have says all options are per standard GTi, but the wheels cannot be changed and nor can the interior trim which features heated seats. Don't think you get the full winter pack, and headlights are therefore non-xenon as standard.

100% definately, you have to have split leather/fabric seats. No recaro's, no full leather and sadly no alcantara being used.

So what's going to be the best colour then.  Like red but it flat.  If the back bumper is now all one colour the lihgter coulours may be improved more.

I have a deposit down for one of these, but the leather/fabric combination is a real turn off...

If full leather is not an option my order will be cancelled.

Don't under stand. Leather sucks. Looks old, stretched and out of shape by the car is a year old.

Alcantara is the best but the standard cloth is better, lighter (weight wise) and cheaper than leather as far as i'm concerned.
