only just got the car yesterday
today the temp light started flashing
but the temp does not go up needle stays in middle where it should be

i aint checked anything yet what should i look for
i no water is low could it be that tellin me to put some in?

i'd top up with water if it's low n see how it goes....

if u kno its low fil it up... poor car!

Yeh the original coolant bottles have a level sensor to tell you to top it up! Handily it flashes on the temp gauge scaring the bejesus outta you! :smiley:

should be ok then ill top it up when it cools down
think thats all it needs

gonna get a good service steam clean engine as its filthy
then should be ok

ok folks

i filled water up this mornign light stopped flashing got in it tonight to take misses home
flashin again had a look drank most of the water

and the heaters inside wont warm up?

seems to be first problem hope its summat daft
any ideas?

what engine is it??? either leaking from the valve for the heater matrix, headasket has gone, split hose, gasket on water pump fcuked

i had a similar problem... it turned out to be headgasket blown between first 2 cylinders, just dont rev 2 high ubtil its checked out

replace the plastic flanges on the front & right side of the block, and take a close look at the radiator.  Helps if you take off the grill & rad fan shroud.
