Anyone else?

Noticed a slight vibration/rattle when driving on uneven road surface. Think it's coming from passanger side door as when I put pressure on the door it stops.
Hard to pin point while driving but anyone else had anything like that?

Hi, i had this exact same issue and it drove me mad for months. In the end i located it to the panel which has the airbag lock key (you see it when you open the door). I prized this open and put some 10mm double sided tape on the few of the flat sections and a strip of single sided 10mm spong tape on the cover (between the cover and the door) and its stopped.

Try looking at that section....fingers crossed for you!

I have one on the drivers door, i have located it right in the corner where the small glass section is towards the back of the dashboard.. there's a bit of trim that is not fixed on and when you press on it, it stops the rattle, it flexes and vibrates.. i think i need to put something discrete in there to stop it moving.

 Just had a look at where you said, I don't think the noise is coming from there but I was shocked how flimsy the piece of plastic was there!

The sound I think is coming from around the door handle area on the inside, when I lean over I pause the upper part of door or the light bar and the vibration stops.
Got a few hours spare tomorrow am going to spend some time if I can see anything that would cause the issue, failing that back to VW I go.

Probably the light strip in the door, I had this on my 8 and 8.5, if you push the tips of your fingers underneath onto the actual light bar itself the noise will probably stop, on my 8 I carefully pushed a small piece of loom tape up beside the light strip using a small screwdriver, whilst being careful to not add too much, that stopped it, on my 8.5 just pushing on the light strip did the trick.

Located the noise!!!! It was driving me mad!!
It wasn't the light strip but the door padding above that
When I heard the nose then leaned over and put pressure on it, the noise would go. For the moment I've wedged a small piece of plastic in there and peace and quiet again.
Going back to VW in MAY!!!

Hi, I think I have similar issue since November, didn’t manage to actually look into it, it is really annoying as it is gets louder on a cold days. But feels like sounds comes from the area right under the small window .
