Thanks for the heads up.  I am gonna see if another dealer can match or do better than the offer i have already had for the Golf R estate.  My 5yr old son tells me i need to get a smaller blue car, so that could be a Golf in Lapiz Blue?

Some good news today. Dealer called and my car is now at a UK port. It was build week 51 and up until last week it apparently kept showing at in factory build still.
Dealer wanted me to take it this month but I ordered specifically for a March registration / collection so they are gonna keep it in their compound. Also means I can get the final service done on my trade in car which is on a service plan.
Let’s just hope it doesn’t get door dings sat in their compound.

Or splattered with birds poo which is then left on the paintwork. If the dealer leaves the protective sheeting on the bonnet, roof and tailgate, those panels will be safe, but birds seem to be quite good at aiming and shooting at the vertical panels!
