No need for lacquer with this paint is a kind of plastic finish. Yeah eBay for the skins I actually sent my badges to the guy and he sorted them and sent them back

Yeah did them last summer, I'm gonna take them off again and do some more coats of black and re apply the vinyl, the right hand side one has started showing a couple of specks of chrome. The others are all fine. Been through a few hand car washes so they've faced the pressure washer plenty of times.

Thanks for the offer, but already spent £6 on the one above so another £12 would take it to £18... on key rings... for a car I can’t even drive atm lol. 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, I cant remember how much it was tbh but I'm sure it was more than 12 quid, I dont own a Gti any longer so I'm currently thinking of spending 35 quid for a key ring for a car I cant even drive......
