Our payroll staff were all rushed new laptops before being told no one allowed in the office. I've always just used my own laptop with my spare large screen TV instead of using a laptop from work. Everyone who can work from home is doing so effectively logging on to the council network just like being in the office. The directive actually came from LGA so surprised your council isn't following advice. Stay safe 👍

I'm wfh on a night shift right now! Really odd, not keen as our house is small and I don't want to disturb my OH. Also we don't have a suitable desk so I'm lounging on the sofa. Comfy but a bit too comfy, must.....not......fall.......asleep......

Wish I could drive my artic from home 😂

I'm currently in isolation for another week after the missus started showing symptoms (works in the NHS), she never got tested due to a shortage.

My current isolation purchases so far;

Skoda washer fluid lid
Soft 99 Authentic Premium
Soft 99 Mirror Shine Wax
CarPro PERL
Bolt Hamber Karrosol
Menzerna SF3500

should keep me busy over the next few days

Isn’t that a contradiction in terms? 😬

Agreed. I did take mine out today for the first time since 12th March as I was getting worried about the battery going flat. I just did a short trip around deserted country lanes to warm then engine, then straight back home where it will stay another 3-4 weeks. I felt guilty for doing it but the risks are low living out in the sticks. So not so much a cheeky drive. More of a guilt-ridden one. Obviously I’m isolated in the car but there’s always a slight risk of accident/breakdown which weighed on my mind.

I’m regularly away from 6 weeks up to 4 months from my 17 plate GTI and each time I’ve just left it chocked in the garage with the handbrake off and no trickle charger and each time it’s started up like normal. You’ll be able to leave yours in the garage for months with no issues without charging the battery.

My 4-year-old Ducati is starting first time with no charger after 6 weeks or more through winter so I'm pretty sure a Golf should be able to sit for quite some time! Currently, it's located in a garage less than a mile from ours so haven't been since lockdown but really want to go and give it a clean and start-up but felt like technically I shouldn't be.

I put a order in for a lot tbh.

1ltr Carpro PEARL - never tried it before and always use 303 but thought I’d try it.
Adams car wash as a bit board with using Meguiars gold class for the past twelve years.
P&S beadmaker
Microfiber madness wheel brush & increadipole
Scangrip wheeled tripod to go with the rest of my light set up.
Oh and eh a Sonic S12 575pc filled tool cabinet.

As I say I was board lol.
