Trickle Chargers - if you disconnect the battery, doesn’t it play havoc with the electrical systems/warning lights on the dash etc?

Had a quick scroll down and didn't see a reply to this. Yes it does, found that out when I was changing my headlight bulbs (which is a nightmare). I was so worried when I started the car back up and the dash was lit up like a christmas tree. It's probably because all the systems have to start back up and reboot. Quite scary and especially as the car has an electric handbrake, I was worried it wasn't going to work when I pressed it

Good shout on the washer cap replacement, really handy. Three ordered.

I couldn't figure out from the link whether the plastic was soft or whether the assembly fitted under the lid of the existing, then found this video which helped, should it be of any use to anyone else:

If they are metal be careful they don’t corrode onto the valve. I had a near miss but seen a Bmw owner that had to saw the valve off after a puncture.
