Power cap is a waste of time though.

you get more bass line when you point the subs towards the rear or the car

the 6x9's are rated at 60rms so the amp for them is a little more powerful but it can run without straining, just a simple 2 channel.

as for the position of the sub box, it had to lay down because of the false floor (too tall to fit under stealth shelf) and space dictated for it to go that way round.

I would recomend running your front speakers off the smaller amp and your 6x9's off y head unit if y really wanna keep em.

The remark about the power cap may be because bass amps demand extra power for longer periods of time. Where power caps can only supply a very short burst of power. You will be better of using an extra car battery in the boot than a power cap. But the real way forward is to use a batcap. Look them up!

as said better bass if you have them firing towards the bootlid. and 6*9`s dont like working in the same air as subs because of the pressures.

and powercaps are jus max power bling there is no need to run one unless you like the look of it:) all they are is extra drain and connections on your power supply

Just wondering wether any of you with boots full of ICE have ever had problems with your rear lamp bulbs blowing due to vibration / pressure from too much bass etc , As a bloke where I used to work was continually blowing his rear bulbs and that only seemed to happen when he turned up the volume ?
