ACC deactivated?
« on: 28 June 2018, 20:11 »
I have a message on my dash saying "ACC deactivated" I go into the menu and it is still ticked, the message won't go away.

I tried using my ODBEleven, but annoyingly it won't connect, will try again later.

Any ideas?

Check the sensor is clean? A tiny bit of road grime was enough to deactivate mine but a wipe with a snotty hanky soon sorted it.

Just found this on another forum:

I had this twice so I decide to read the manual. If you press the "set" or "res" button it will show the message "acc deactivated".
You first have to turn on the ACC by pressing the little button that looks like a speedometer. There are two similar on the left hand side of the steering wheel and you need the top one. The bottom one alters between the speed limiter and the acc.

I think it's just telling you that you haven't got ACC switched on which you can tell as you can see the mileage instead of a little speedo symbol. Mine is always on so it's a nice surprise to see the cars mileage when I switch the engine off!
