e-Golf still going strong....at least until they've cleared the parts bin. Lots of cheap lease offers in recent weeks.

Had my Polo GTI+ in for warranty work to get rid of a creaky rattle (new bump stops and top mount bearings on front suspension) and I saw a brand new e-Golf in the showroom. Oddly though, it had the old style ACC sensor in the front lower grille and an old front badge (not smooth) - any idea why?
The Charging port is behind the badge on the e-Golf and GTE, so they can’t put the 7.5 ACC badge on it.

The 7.5 GTE also only has the 6speed DSG.
SOLD March 2021

Only the GTE has a charging port behind the badge. On the e-Golf it's behind the fuel filler door as there is no fuel tank. No idea why the e-Golf has the old style ACC sensor.

E golf assembled at a site (not Wolfsburg) where some VAG variants still use the old style sensor? I'm sure there are a few SEAT vehicles still using the old style sensor.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....
