I'd doubt it was any different TBH. The difference in dynaudio is just the amp and the speakers.

NavPro has exactly the same audio decoding software, no amp and same speakers.

Current: Mk8 GTI DSG, Adelaides, DCC, HUD, HK, Winter Pack, Rear Camera.. Aka "HMS Weasel"

Gone: 2017 Mk7.5 GTD,manual, NavPro

I actually think the audio quality of the standard nav is pretty decent as far as standard head units go. I did notice going from Golf Mk5 to Focus Mk2 stereo was a clear backwards step. The Octavia vRS i had after was a step up again, and the Golf 7.5 another step up. Therefore the Dynaudio must be better than the stereo in my front room.

Dynaudio is very nice indeed. Really sounds excellent.

But IMHO, much like NavPro, its good but is it worth the cash it costs? Its what, 500 quid? Thats a lot of money for even a home audio setup. I suppose you could argue that if you owned the car for 5 years its not much a day but...

The "tech pack" on the runout Mk7 was a good deal, that was definitely worth the money.

I'm sure the Nav pro has a slightly different sound processor in it or at least it did on the mib1.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

Well guys deal is done and I’ve just ordered my GTI. This will be my first Petrol powered car in 12 years, and whilst the GTD was and still is a fabulous car, I have to admit that even at my age, I’m quite looking forward to picking her up.

Went to and fro on the options but I’ve settled on the below.

GTI 230PS 5 door
DSG
Indium Grey metallic
19” Brescia alloy wheels
Art Velours interior
Dynamic light assist with lane assist and traffic sign recognition
Dynaudio sound pack
Keyless entry
Wireless smartphone charging
Climate windscreen
Rear view camera
Dynamic Chassis control

I umm’d and arr’d about Nav Pro but after using them both and having a good play in the showroom. I decided that as nice as Nav Pro was (for me), it just wasn’t £1325 better than the standard Nav which was really nice and very responsive.

Expecting around 16-20weeks so late June / Early July which suits to be honest, so hopefully I can collect it in some decent warmer weather.

Thanks to all those that helped with the decision making process, I’m very happy.
2022 Tiguan R-Line 2.0 TSI 4-Motion. Nightshade blue, pano roof, IQ lights, Nav Pro, Harmon Kardon, Heated Windscreen, Heated rear seats, Wireless charging, Heads up display, dual height boot floor, Keyless with electric tailgate, Electronic TPMS, underbody protection, Area View Cameras

Congratulations on your impending new arrival. Hopefully it will make you very happy.

It's your money at the end of the day so if you are pleased with your choices then that's really more important than what any of us think.

In between selling my Golf R and picking up my Mk 7.5 GTi PP my dealer lent me a Mk7.5 Golf R estate for a week with Nav Pro in it.  At the time I thought how much better the resolution of the Nav Pro display was (but maybe not £1325 better) and was starting to regret not ticking that box . Anyway when I picked mine up with the standard Nav i was a little anxious when I first turned it on but I needn’t have worried it’s hardly, if any different and very much better than my previous MIB1 Nav so I am very happy with the standard head unit and Dynaudio 👍👍👍
