Golf R Keyless Entry

Well, after having my GTI for 2 and a half years im looking into the next car, specifically the Golf R. Haven't done much else other than have a look on the configurator. noticed that since i last looked at it, keyless is no longer an option. Anyone know if this is a mistake or if keyless is still an option and if it is, whats the price?

It's no longer an option on 3 door cars weirdly. You can spec it on a 5 door...

I know keyless is not available for 3 doors on the configurator.

I've looked on the VW used car site a few times and keep seeing 16 plate 3 door with keyless.

How are these cars getting ordered if its not an option.

Like he ^^^ said. They must have been sitting around for a few months as that change came into effect on 26th October 2015.

so keyless entry isnt available AT ALL on 3 door cars? its not even standard? thats very very odd!

This has been common knowledge for a good while now.
No one seems to know the reason either.
I've just got a 5 dr GTI and keyless is brilliant.

I just tried to order a 3 door GTI PP was made aware of no keyless, but dealer said Alarm no longer an option as its part of Keyless pack!
