Thanks Kyle and Charlie :afro:

I think I underestimated, I'd been awake about 30 hours and made it until midnight so around 37 hours awake!
I then slept for 11 hours straight and back on the graveyard shift Monday.

Now to decide whether to keep the VW 19's on there and sell the Cadiz and spacers while the Cadiz still have decent value, or keep the original wheels for part ex time. If I can get a decent price for the original 18's then I'd leave the 19's on for when I sell it.
Normally I keep the original wheels for when the car goes but I'm fed up having bits of car taking up all my space and being as the wheels on there now are OEM VW I'm sure it won't upset a dealer when I come to trade the R in at some point (not that there's anything on the market that I could afford I'd want to swap it out for right now).
Dunno, will think some more on that subject.

Anyway, enough of that - does anyone know what the difference between a burrito and an enchilada is?

I was speaking to my VW dealer recently about factory fit OEM wheels and genuine VW accessory wheels, and they told me as a trade in, it would be easier for them to sell a car with the factory fit wheels. I've got 18" Rotarys on my mk6 but have kept my 18" diamond cut Charltons, so if I were to part-ex in the near future, the Charlestons would go back on, and I'd either keep the Rotarys for the replacement car or sell them.

Intrigued by the 'off the wall' burritos v's enchilada question in a mk7 R thread  :grin: You feeling hungry Mr Ex? Try this;

Enchiladas are made with corn tortillas, filled with meat, and then covered with sauce. Burritos are made with flour tortillas, filled with a variety of meats and veggies (lettuce, onions, tomatoes, etc.) and rolled into an 'envelope' of sorts that can be held and eaten much like a 'wrap'.

So basically they're pretty much the same thing but one has sauce on it so will make a mess of your best shirt if you pick it up?

I generally keep my original wheels to put back on when I sell but have in the past traded a car with "accessory" wheels and got the same price as I'd get with factory fit - after all they're OEM and carry the same guarantees plus are easily replaceable by a dealer if they get an issue with one.

Enchiladas and Burritos are both made with soft flour tortillas but Enchiladas are filled with usually a beef or chicken mixture, rolled up and covered in sauce (and cheese) then baked in the oven.  Burritos are not baked in the oven, but are a soft wrap filled with a various ingredients and eaten as a wrap, much like a Fajita.  All of them are delicious but Enchiladas are my favourite and I make them once a month. Yum!  If you fold the wrap correctly you won't end up with food all over your shirt, it's an art, lol.  Pass the sour cream please.....

Now back to your wheel dilemma.......

If you wish to your shirt to remain unblemished by Mexican sauce, Mr Ex, one simple rule........Enchiladas are eaten with a knife and fork, Burittos are eaten like a sandwich.

Now, more importantly........why did you ask?  Are you planning some Mexican/ Tex-Mex Fiesta in the Ex household?   And if so, can I come?

Of course you would be most welcome Ms B, with those Mexican culinary skills you have you could even volunteer for chef duties - you cook, I'll wash up!

My son is having his various birthday meals this week so I was looking at Chiquitos menu for when my sister breezes in (whilst I was replying on here yesterday) and coming to the conclusion that most of the food involves the same ingredients, just cooked slightly differently!
Chiquitos looks quite pricey for what it is so I'm only considering it thanks to their 25% off student discount!

Nail hit on head!  There's so many different versions of essentially the same thing, we haven't even discussed chimichangas, fajitas or tacos yet!

Planning a Mexican feast is much more complicated than buying a car.

A 7 R and still a student - good going :)

All of the national chains have a tendency to be pricey for what they are - but when we were last in Bella Italia (next door to Chiquito in the town where i spend mid weeks!) they said that virtually no one comes in without some discount code these days....

So out of all those identical but different meals - do enchiladas get the nod?

"I wish"!
I had a push bike when I was a student.

My sons are both students and they have a GTI at their disposal (a very old and ratty one) but choose to use their enslaved parents as a free taxi service instead.
I think I went wrong somewhere with my parenting!
One of many wrong turns in my life!!!
