Thanks Kyle and Charlie
I think I underestimated, I'd been awake about 30 hours and made it until midnight so around 37 hours awake!
I then slept for 11 hours straight and back on the graveyard shift Monday.
Now to decide whether to keep the VW 19's on there and sell the Cadiz and spacers while the Cadiz still have decent value, or keep the original wheels for part ex time. If I can get a decent price for the original 18's then I'd leave the 19's on for when I sell it.
Normally I keep the original wheels for when the car goes but I'm fed up having bits of car taking up all my space and being as the wheels on there now are OEM VW I'm sure it won't upset a dealer when I come to trade the R in at some point (not that there's anything on the market that I could afford I'd want to swap it out for right now).
Dunno, will think some more on that subject.
Anyway, enough of that - does anyone know what the difference between a burrito and an enchilada is?
I was speaking to my VW dealer recently about factory fit OEM wheels and genuine VW accessory wheels, and they told me as a trade in, it would be easier for them to sell a car with the factory fit wheels. I've got 18" Rotarys on my mk6 but have kept my 18" diamond cut Charltons, so if I were to part-ex in the near future, the Charlestons would go back on, and I'd either keep the Rotarys for the replacement car or sell them.
Intrigued by the 'off the wall' burritos v's enchilada question in a mk7 R thread
You feeling hungry Mr Ex? Try this;
Enchiladas are made with corn tortillas, filled with meat, and then covered with sauce. Burritos are made with flour tortillas, filled with a variety of meats and veggies (lettuce, onions, tomatoes, etc.) and rolled into an 'envelope' of sorts that can be held and eaten much like a 'wrap'.
Thanks SR!

So basically they're pretty much the same thing but one has sauce on it so will make a mess of your best shirt if you pick it up?

I generally keep my original wheels to put back on when I sell but have in the past traded a car with "accessory" wheels and got the same price as I'd get with factory fit - after all they're OEM and carry the same guarantees plus are easily replaceable by a dealer if they get an issue with one.
We'll see (wheel see?)
