Thanks, but nowhere near as pretty as Prets!
Winter boots on in a 'low maintenance' colour.
A couple more pics taken on a filthy November Sunday morning in the wind and rain. Kind of sets the mood for winter wheels...
Very nice buddy. You can see the effect the wheel spacers make. Subtle but sweet. However I'm one of those odd-bods who only likes factory fit wheels. Yours are close to Prets though. And as you say, in a dirt friendly colour
Could you explain how the peddle box works? How it changes the character of the car? I'm intrigued. Thx
Thanks
The spacers are off the car now, those wheels are OEM VW wheels with a Scirocco offset which sits them better in the arches. I only ran the spacers with the Cadiz wheels.
Look on DTUK's website for the full gen on the pedal box.
If you've ever driven a car with an old style mechanical fuel injection or a carburettor you'll know how modern cars don't have instantaneous throttle response but are laggy instead. Plus the mk7 has about an inch of dead pedal travel. The pedal box just gives you an instant response when you accelerate which is most noticeable as the turbo spools up at lower revs. It's akin to going for a jog in nice lightweight running shoes instead of tying a couple sponges to the bottom of your work shoes and going for a run...
Some accuse the pedal box of just moving the full throttle position but you don't have to set them up like that. You can tailor the throttle graph how you want it to perform.
