Loving mine too! Had it about seven weeks, it's in the best colour (

) and fairly standard. Many of the 2000 odd miles I've covered so far have been for no useful reason whatsoever and for that, I apologise to the planet but it's been great! I'm surprised at how flimsy some of the bodywork is compared with my old Audi but presumably that helps to keep the weight down. Probably. Will look at changing the footwell lights to red soon as others have done but that will be it mod wise for now.
My work friends have taken great joy at mocking me - tales of cleaning the exhaust tips, taking the wheels off to wax them and drying dew off with my towel have provided them with plenty of ammunition and they have indulged with glee. Jealous of course! (In my mind at least).
Next year I'll have the car machine polished as there is some damage to the paint inflicted by the garage I bought it from (it's an ex-demo) but in reality it is very difficult to see. But for now it has a good coating of sealant (with another coat for good measure planned) and the wheels being waxed has really helped make cleaning them much easier.
I think these cars have some real character, unusual in a modern car and definitely become as much a hobby as a means of getting from a to b. The fact that they also get from a to b in an exciting way (if you so wish) is the sticky cake topping!
Sorry for the waffle, being distracted by Top Gear and a good pint!
