Loving the throttle blip "growl" when you start up. For now i'll keep the Soundaktor going (and leave the car in race), perhaps the novelty will wear off after a few weeks and i'll get it knocked down a few %.

The new car smell - someone should bottle that, or maybe it's just me that likes it, always liked the smell of the solvents being used in the lab at Uni.  Glad the smell of the W6 Iron fallout stuff dissipated quickly.

Like she needs more. This is a woman that has 23 pairs of low converse, a pair in pretty much every colour they do. Then there's the proper shoes....

I'm sure i'll get dragged around Newcastle or the Metrocentre tomorrow for converse pair 24, or some sandals or something else.

New car smell, ahhhh    A smell like no other and in a good way.  The same can't be said about iron remover, bleughh. A smell like no other and in a bad way

Just drop her off, take the car for a spin and pick her up after.  If she's shoe shopping you should have a good few hours of fun before she's finished

Haven't been on any especially crappy roads today to really notice the difference when it counts, but you can just about tell you are on something a little firmer than 18" Nogaros on the GTD. Right now i'm not regretting not speccing DCC. They look great and will be a doddle to keep clean too Gave them the same treatment as the bodywork - a full coat of C2V3. They'll get another coat along with the door handles next weekend to ensure the crap has difficulty sticking to them.

Thanks for the pictures. Love the background as well as the car. Some inside pictures of the dash etc would also be nice, if you don't mind.

Now to the most important bit. Stop moaning about your wife shopping at the Metro Centre Shopping Mall .What a reasonable woman. Count yourself lucky you landed an economical filly. Now think Harrods and Selfridges and that includes food shopping. Then it is Bond Street and Sloane Avenue. Mind you, I am no better. But hey, I can't take it with me. Perhaps I should go mad and do some car shopping. Oh no, if I did, I'd be ...... better not say it.

Back to the car. Have you checked the tyre pressures? Checked the transport blocks have been removed? The doors and everything else are perfectly hung?

Word of advice. Don't wear Blue Jeans as they might stain and possibly damage your seats. And don't let the economical one park the car lest she kerb your painted and overpriced alloys.

Lastly but not least, congratulations on joining the R fold. I am really happy for you. Enjoy your R.

The background is the mouth of the Tyne (and South Shields on the other side of the river). Your ship will be coming in with your R that way if it isn't here already. Prets on Lapiz is a winning combination, on some other colours they don't suit (TR seems to look better on Cadiz for some reason).
