So this week the price rise went on the Gti as expected. And earlier in the week, the base nav, winter pack and keyless all showed as standard features on the gti. (and I therefore requested a revised finance quote as the configuration I am looking at is effectively bit cheaper, and theoretically, higher base spec should improve residuals vs an optioned up car to the same spec) and it was a bit cheaper.
However, now the extra kit has gone from the standard spec list (price rise still there) and the GTD Estate still has it added!
I gather standard spec doesn't actually change until BW22, and no new factory order would be earlier than that (I assume). Aside from the various comments re: configurator accuracy, is this just because a new car from stock might not have those features (yet still the price rise, I assume?!)
