High Tech Hannah is just an expression I made up and which rhymes quite nicely.

My dear Miss Booth:
You owe it to yourself to be a High Tech Hannah.

What I still cannot understand is that exactly the same Tech Pack on the GTD/GTI is £1240 whereas for the R it is £1840.

Most odd.

There's only 2 logical explanations:

1. A mistake on the configurator
Or
2. The GTI is getting the regular DNS as standard. Hence the upgrade to the Pro is cheaper.

I would spec the nav pro every time. It looks way better than the smaller dns, finishes the dash board off really well, makes the rear view camera even better. It also comes with hard drive and the fact the maps are stored in the system rather than being on an sd card. Screen resolution is excellent too.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

@Joe,
Ah cool. I actually bought in western motors in Drogeda as they gave me the best trade on my currevt car. It's 152 for me! What are you ordering? I've no build week yet but I expect to be approx BW22. So maybe new screen and maybe not. Hope price home doesn't happen but I understand it might!

Ah ha, it was your initial spelling minus the last H which threw me.  Was it too much of a challenge to rhyme something with my real name?

3.  Those ordering Rs are being screwed.

I just cannot see the GTI getting DNS as standard and not the R. I don't think either will get it as standard but stranger things have happened

As soon as my dealer gets back to me i'll let you know Rebecca. I would phone my salesman up again but I think any more of my chase-up phone calls and he'll be putting a restraining order on me.

I can see that it would give a more premium feel to the interior as well as the tech advantages.  The original cost deterred me from speccing it initially.  At the time of choosing a part of me thought "well what the hell it's costing me X anyway, why scrimp on that" but then I would've ended up adding stuff just for the sake of it, so common sense prevailed.  I'm pretty good at sticking to my guns usually and not giving into temptation just because.

However, as part of the possible Tech pack (factoring in everything else,) the extra £370 is more palatable and seems worth it.  If it is doable, I will add it.

Edited.

Speaking of the RS3 I thought it was available to order from March? Still says coming soon on Audi's site.
