Just had this flash up on my 18 month old GTD, will check the bulbs tonight but surely bulbs should last longer than this?!

Mine had blown only 8 months after getting the car and I don't think I've seen the last of these bulb issues. Had them malfunction a few times which I would need to turn the car off then back on for it to work again. Gets really frustrating as I have gotten used to them and now I have to overlook hard corners sometimes.

Turns out my issue is a blown bulb, helpful to see this on a thread, saved me wasting my time visiting the dealer

Seems 18 months is the failure time for this, as error flashed up other night.

Forum saved me trip to dealer  and an easy replacement of 90% + Bosch Bulbs on buy one get one free so replaced both and just improves the experience as corners are well and truly get lit up now.

I didn't realise they would wash it for something so small.
Dealers will always wash the car if its in their possession as 99% of people are delighted and will use that as a reason to use them again.

You have to both ask them not too and also display clear signage in the both side windows to ensure you car is not swirled by the valeters gritty sponge... OCD but sadly a requirement these days...

That's probably true for the majority on here but the average man in the street still probably thinks it's a bonus.

The mere thought of the gritty rag sends shivers down my spine.  Coming up for my 3rd and final (for me) service on my mk6, so nearly time to dig out my collection of 'PLEASE DO NOT WASH THIS CAR' signs out!

Just had this come up as well.  Think I've lasted ok at almost 30 months.

Anyone have a link to the bulbs?  What's the best way to check? Just tried indicating left and right and none of the side lights came on.

Make sure you're not in eco mode and turn your wheel left and right dippy. Don't think they come in when indicating alone.
