Hi guys. Just stuck with this and after some advice.
I know there's a lot of threads about this however I'm stuck so thought i'd check this out with you before I tow it to the garage.
I am getting no spark from plugs or from the coil. However I can no longer hear the fuel pump priming when ignition is turned to no. 2. Could this cause no spark?
It is strange as two weeks ago I changed plugs (bosch) , leads(beru) , dizzy cap and rotor arm as they were a bit old. The car started first time after changing these. Drove it a few miles that day. Turned it off, and drove another few miles back home.
However the next day went to start it and it would just turn over. I have since noticed I dont think I can hear fuel pump priming. I have checked all grounds, battery terminals, dizzy leads, checked pump relay is in properly (not tried a replacement yet) and tried a different tci-h module but still just turning over.
Any ideas before I get it towed down the toad? I don't have a multimeter so can test much in that regard. The car does have 189k and the coil is looking original could it be that?
Many thanks!
Tom
