:cry:ive removed and cleaned my throttle body replaced gasket and now it seems im getting less mpg it says 18mpg now
any help/advise realy appreciated

As dom has suggested re-align t/b with vag-com is best,although the ecu usually adapts with a few miles of driving too,i would scan for any fault codes also first up and go from there.

Based on your sig, you have an AUM which will definitely need it realigned by vagcom.

While you have the vagcom kit out, check the water temp sender is giving reasonable values.
And go back over the throttle body work and make sure you haven't created an air leak.
