so now that you know its a AUG box :) you can use the webpage http://www.scirocco.org/gears/ to calculate different speeds/rpm's for gear ratio's until you find one that suits! id just stick a longer 5th in it, and be done with it!

So I think if I have done it rite my box should be able to do 134mph, that sounds about rite.

Sorry to go over something that has been gone over 1000 times before but I'm confused :undecided: don't take much.
After doing lots of research I had came to the conclusion that I needed/wanted a 02a box with code cdm or ata for my mk2 abf, But after talking to topgear/gearbox rebuilders they have told me its a total different box?
Help!  :sad:

No aug is the code on the box I have just blown up, it's the 8v mk2 box

02o box is rod selector. 02a cable change box. So if you had an aug then you would need to change the whole gear shift mechanism to run a 02a

Yes it will physically fit the block, you just need associated parts to go with it like clutch & shifter assembly etc
