1999 golf turbo remap,

Did i read somewhere that 1999 golf gti turbos cant have remaps ! if so why not ... :sick:

Lies, they remap fine, I know, I've had 2 of them remapped, both agu's.
1999 1.8t AGU, KNN Panel filter, Smoothed air box, Custom CAI, Forge 007 dv, REVO stage 1, 3" eBay TBE. Audi TT quickrack.

To come - A DIY hybrid K03 and a whole lot of supporting mods!

great i like that ,so as your an old hand ,i want car to be as standard on the outside as possible ,stock exhaust etc ,what power increase do you suggest i want a minimum of 180 but want maybe  more ,

panel filter a k03s turbo and exhaust you might see 230  :smiley:

ok 230 sounds good!  so the remaps can be done in stages then ie stage 1 = 180bhp and onwards upto 230 bhp  or have i got it wrong

r=techs website but its all down to how much power you want an how much you want to spend my agu runs more than 230 but has bigger turbo and a few other bits  :smiley:

top power on the K03 with supporting mods is around 200bhp, K03s 250bhp

If your not after big power just get a panel filter, a k03s, a exhaust and a tip and you will hit a nice 230 bhp

I thought I would jump in on this thread as I am going to be getting mines remapped soon.

I am not looking for big power., is the standard mk4 exhuast system good for 220bhp. ( I have reached a point in my life were I don't want another loud car lol).
