Irrc the exhaust it's self may be ok for 220bhp although it will be a restriction but it's mainly the downpipe that causes problems as it is really restrictive

Not sure what the standard exhaust maxes out at but i've had a few resonated aftermarket exhausts of a couple of golf's and they aint too bad, I'm not a big fan of loud exhausts either, which is why i've taken the 3" turbo back off mine to get a cat and a decibel reducing insert welded in. The blueflame resonated system I had on my edition 30 sounded pretty much standard until you stamped on the go pedal.
1999 1.8t AGU, KNN Panel filter, Smoothed air box, Custom CAI, Forge 007 dv, REVO stage 1, 3" eBay TBE. Audi TT quickrack.

To come - A DIY hybrid K03 and a whole lot of supporting mods!

I just want around 200 brake  and keep it as stock as possible on the outside ,im too old now for big pipes hanging out the back  :grin:but I do like to hear induction  :wink:
