When I first got mine as a standard car it would do 33mpg no problem. Had a generic map flashed on and CAI filter all was good but started to use a lot more fuel rarely seeing over 20mpg, put that down to the map and flooring it when in fact the PCV pipes had split open along with a duff lambda sensor and it was running like a bag of sh!t.
Fitted a catch can, replaced all of the shot old hoses, new sensor and was getting 70-80 more miles putting £60 in at near empty and 30+ mpg on the display.
A decent remap and good maintenance - well worth doing to avoid going diesel
