The boot won't lock when using the central locking fob. Had a quick look before and water is escaping when I use the rear washer. I obviously need to repair the pipe and connector which I'll sort out this week. I'm presuming the water leak has effected the electric motor which locks the boot.
Will I need to replace the motor or will it work again when it's dried out?

it will have affected the lock and microswitch also so you will need to replace this the same as me as mine did the same
i stripped my motor and it was beyond repair tbh you can get a service kit afaik for them but buying another motoer would probs be the best bet,all i did then was pull the motor out and rear wiper assembly block and seal the water pipe and plug the rear glass where the wiper spindle goes i tend not to use the rear wiper
well i won't be doing now
