Googled it and come up with boot badge drain pipe damaged. Went to look at mine and there is an empty hole. No grommit, nothing. So I need to do this. Is there a part number you can give me and maybe any tips on doing the job right. CheersThe OEM one is rubbish, I upgraded mine years ago and been perfect since. https://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=277074.30

Yeah the OEM one is kinda plasticy, with a rubber grommet on the end. The new one I got was all silicone/rubber.
Replaced my perished tailgate badge drain tube, the tailgate trims are a bit of a bugger to get off as you think your gonna break something.Anyway, all done, straightforward enough.Drain Tube part number - 510 827 861A
