Bit of an update, the wife got me a few bits for my birthday  some new crystle fog lights and a single grill and light eyebrow.

So today i set about priming the light eyebrow and priming and spraying the red pin stripe into the front grill.

Pleased with the end result, now all I need is the car

Time for a update. Had a few pics sent today from the garage that are doing engine convertion. Really pleased with the job they are doing so far, top lads really taking time and doing bits bobs that I dint think they would do.

Pics they sent.

Bit of welding they have done under the air box

Some welding needed here

They then cleaned up the engine bay and gave it a bit of a spray to tidy it up.

They also sprayed the inlet manifold.

Like I said think they are doing a really good job

Been down to the garage today to paint clean up a few bits.

So gave the gear box a good clean and also had a look at what they had been doing to the engine. After cleaning gearbox gave it a spray.

Also gave this a paint

Was really happy with how the engine is looking the guys have done a good job and and it's looking mint. The pics don't show how nice it looks in the flesh.

Think there hoping to get it in the car on Monday.

Feel free to comment or ask any questions guys.

Thanks bud, like you say, I have mainly got it for the pipe work as the abf box is to big for the mk2 engine bay. Will probably change it at a later date.
The inlet manifold looks better in the flesh, really pleased with it.
Time for you to get the spray cans out?

Yeh and get the inlet off lol.
With engine in place not sure how big a job it is but being at the front got to be fairly easy surely.

Don't think it's a big job to get inlet off.
