Seems like the waiting time on the GTD/GTI is nuts at the moment. Feel sorry for you guys who have had your orders put back.

Ive been quoted 18-22 weeks for the GTD, longer if i want to add the reversing camera which I really wanted on the new car.

Does anyone have a Picture of the GTD Start up Screen and the Discovery/Discovery Pro Nav ?

I really need to see Oryx in the flesh before I can plump for it, at the min its making £15 pm difference to my PCP Quote.
The main draw for Oryx white is it will be a rarer white. Can you PM me some pics of the Oryx GTD ?

Rick2b - Let me know when you want me to come check the car out, ha

Oryx white is £15pm more than pure white? In reality then it is costing you £540 more (seems to retain about £400 of it's cost, assuming that pure white is the baseline/retains zero).
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

On my Scirocco I currently have the RNS-510 and love the on board HDD to store my Music. I Use the Nav a couple of times a week and I find the screen etc fine. Would have been better if the directions etc from the NAV showed up on the MFD.

Is it not meant to show up on the MFD the way it does on the MK6 Golf? I thought that was standard.
Did you add the RNS-510 as a retro fit?

No doubt, someone will figure it out if they haven't already?! However it'll be quite an expensive retrofit if the mk6 was anything to go by?

As I've said countless times before on a multiple of threads carsystems.pl have been selling the full camera kits for the mk7 for over 6 months now. Its about 350 quid plus fitting and coding so it works out at around 500 quid at least for a 165 option. rather expensive if you ask me along with the fact that your pulling panels off your new car and then splicing wiring.
