Whys my 300bhp Golf cutting out only on Roundabouts ???

Hi there, does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this issue

As im going into a big roundabout in 3rd gear and then want to put my foot down on the accelerator the cars cutting out, feels like theres no fuel, and as soon as im back on the straight it runs perfectly

sounds like fuel starvation to me and a swirl pot might be needed, if your hitting a roundabout in 3rd then your odviously hitting it at speed. so the fuel in your tank will be shifting from the side of your pump to the other side. fill your tank full then try it. does it pop and bang when doing it?

Hi there, i no the fuel pump has been uprated but unsure as to which pump it is

I tried it with 3/4 of a tank a was still doing it 

its 50/50 as to whether it pops and bangs

going to remove the fuel pump over the next few days to check if everything is ok with it

need to sort it cos my mate nearly ran up my arse end the other day not realising that the car had briefly cut out on the roundabout

I'm saying fuel pump is struggling. Not sure what one Toby fitted but it might be worth looking for a Cupra R pump, straight fit with no messing about
