If you don't pressure these companies they'll just continue to give poor service with no reason to change.

Too right, and it works both ways as I've said - I'm quick to praise too.  But, if you aint' vocal, they will never change.

They probably won't change anyway because we complain but continue to buy their products (except Bill and a few others) because despite the wait, they are good.

Maybe, maybe not, but at least if I say my piece it stands a chance of having more impact that not saying anything at all.  But, you are right, generally speaking we will continue to buy their products because in the case of GTI/GTD certainly, they are more than worth the wait.  To be fair, it's not the wait that bothered me, it's the lack of clarity throughout it.

Good stuff MH - glad you got a response and it appears your car will be on a boat sharpish!  I'm hoping mine will be right behind yours if not on the same boat but I'm not holding my breath (I haven't received f7ck all response from my email to Mr Thomas )

Tracker "in transit" text has dropped to 3 weeks. My car has officially been recognised as being at Emden and thumbing for a lift on a passing boat.

Great News MH! Hopefully it's plain 'Sailing' from here on in  (excuse the pun).

Just hoping there isn’t a hailstorm at Emden in the foreseeable future!

2 days after 10 day notice.

Does say can take seven days to retailer?

I guess I should call, since he never calls me!
