So, Who else's GTi is in Transit? - Update Now In UK

Just looked at the tracker for a daily update, and my GTi is showing as in Transit!

I'm hoping to pick up before the last day of the month (not confirmed with dealer yet)

Anyone else on the same boat  :cool:

Hi Guys,

Can you say how long your order stayed at build week confimed status before moving to in transit status?

I ordered on April 8th. I had a confirmed build week about 3 weeks after ordering. It was built in week 20, which was almost 4 weeks ago, but was only put on a boat a couple of days ago.

Order placed April 1st, order number received April 5th.

Build week confirmed week 20, switched to in transit 4 weeks later.

Of course I will post some pics, but think we have seen plenty already. I have resisted the temptation to go and see a demo car however, as want the first one I see in the flesh to be mine.

mines onto in transit. i had BW 24 / 10-06-13. maybe in transit means its moving along a production line?
