forge 007p revised piston kit

just thought id say recieved in post my service kit from forge for my 007p.........my valve was used and few year old model and the service kit was a different piston..spoke to forge said they changed design a while back about a year ago due to finding out over time the domed piston leaked boost so this a far better design. thought id let you guys know as i didnt know this!
2001 mk4 GTI 1.8t AUM. k&n induction kit with customer heat shield, 3'' TIP, Forge 007P, Stage 1 map, N249 bypass, 3'' downpipe and decat, 2.75'' Jetex cat back non res, Koni shockers and H&R springs 35mm, dimpled and grooved disks front and back

How much was the kit mate?

14.29 delivered. They have 2 on ebay one charges postage 1 doesnt lol. I semt you a pm over day wazzer too..... :-)

Wow..... it like a new car! Obv my old valve was playing up. Pulls lovley now

Send Forge an email telling them that your original valve is leaking, Tell them your unhappy as it cost xxx amount
and feel disappointed that its failed.

They will send you the rebuild kit for free!

That's how I got mine.

Didn't even do that - just called and said it was leaking boost - its in the post FOC  :wink:
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Just read this read so decided to email forge to tell them it's leaking pressure. They now asking how do I know it's leaking pressure and what test have I done?  :angry:

say you have pressurised the system with a compressor to (rated spings psi), youve removed the DV from the TIP (but still bonnected to boost pipe) and can feel air leeking to the tip..
though, i disagree with what you are doing guys, soon forge will get wise to people taking the piss, forge are expensive enough, you should have to pay when things really do go wrong!.
then i suppose if they dropped their prices a little their customer services would deteriorate too. :undecided:
