catch tank adapters

I cant remember who was having these made t`was many moons ago. i think it may have been wazzer or Dave-iow.
basically i need adapters for my ebay oil catch tank to bring the unions to golf size (iirc its 19mm)??
any idea`s?

I wouldn't worry too much about using the 15mm ones that come with the kit as the inside of the
hockey puck is way smaller than 15mm. Using the ones you have won't be restrictive at all.

I agree with mar_k. I was part of the thread you mentioned and did all sorts of research and tried bodging together copper pipes and all sorts for a larger aperture. In the end stuck with the standard and it works well, you wont notice any difference and it still collects the vapours.

I used the 19mm hoses recommended for the full set up. For the connections to the catch can, I cut small lengths of the 15mm hose supplied with the can and coated the outside with glue and slid them inside the 19mm hoses. They fit perfectly and create an air tight seal.

i wasnt too concerned about the restriction it was more about the leak issues as this could affect maf readings

I done as above, I sleeved the 19mm hose using the crap hose that came with the can.

Also are you sure about it affecting the MAF reading?

Not really sure how it can as some people vent the can to atmosphere which would have the same affect as leak at the can surely?

pull a pipe off your catch can and see how your engine runs!
if there is a leak between the throttle body and maf it`ll run like a sack of sh!t. people who vent to atmosphere plug the hole in the tip fir de hockey puck
