Yes agreed about clearing codes but in my case they just vanished most garages dont even realise the abs is not working on a mk3 if its not fixed by mot take the plug out of the back of the holder and put the face back onit most garages wont realise it but some can thts a last resort option

Well after sorting the ecu fault code,i opted to also change the rear lh sensor as that came up,ecu seems okay no fault shown and i have soldered my original unit and same result, fitted rear lh sensor a few mins ago and finally handbrake warning light is now out  but shows rear rh sensor now  will get a sensor fitted and fingers crossed this sorts the abs light.

Recently did mine due to RH sensor showing constant fault, light did not go out with new sensor and ring.....
Fitted new LH sensor and ring, bingo

Your in a rare group............

But not for very long

Eicher sensors sold by GSF and Europarts are turd, they swell up and let in water.
You can make them last a little longer by relieving the hole they fit so they just drop in, but they eventually fail.
The left rear on mine was only 18 months old

We will see how long mine lasts this time
