cheers, The last time changed front brake pads. Abs light was on, then after a few mins it turned off itself. My mechanic said just drive it it'll go off. But not sure if I were to bleed, what the procedure then is.

Lol, good luck

That's not quite right, hardness of the friction material does not always denote how abrasive it will be.
Soft materials are often the most abrasive by design

Il be ok. My mate/cousin owns a garage/tyre shop so il be using the ramp all day next door to him (another mate) has a body shop so giving my front calipers to him to paint, next door to him is an mot place (older brother of the tyre shop) next door to him is another garage (mot guys son) il be using his diagnostic to sort any probs out. And in return i go down chit chat/bit of banter (harsh) and get my hands oily (help out) a nice learning curve for me and i love it.
Oh yeah will also be replacing the brake hoses with ss hoses and replacing all of the brake piping and if i got a chance il take the wish bones off and sort out the gaitor for my inner tie rods.

If you get new rear discs make sure you get the abs rings too and may as well get new rear bearings and races.
