No it will be fine, it doesn't get that hot. Also you still have the long shield that runs inside the tunnel.

Removing it is fine....
As long as you don't mind setting fire to your carpets.

Do you unplug all eletrical items when its thunder and lightening too? Lol

Very very very very unlucky for it to make any difference to cabin temps let alone set carpet on fire..

Some miss understanding here , the heat shield he is on avoid sits on te underside facing the ground not the trans tunnel side ,

mpg the same as before. when it was cold got enough white smoke out the tailpipe to whiteout everyone behind me. got lots of people keeping their distance but it stops once the car is warmed up. i'm still unsure of why this is...i was wondering if i could get the emissions checked by you at some point before long. i have a bad feeling that it will be time to put the car into retirement onto the family farm.:).  praying that the warm weather of summer will be therapeutic..
